Forward shipment and RTO charges are incurred on shipments, shipped through different courier partners.

Shipment forward charges: When an order is being delivered from seller to the customer’s address it is called a forward delivery and shipping charges incurred for the same shipment are called forward charges.

RTO backward charges: When a courier partner is unable to deliver the shipment to the end customer, it is marked as Return To Origin (RTO) i.e return the shipment back to the pickup address.
